We welcome you to 360 Palawan! Our 20-room tropical resort is located in Port Barton, in the San Vicente Municipality of Western Palawan. Palawan is one of the largest provinces in the Philippines, and consists of one major island surrounded by about 1,800 other beautiful islands. If you want a relaxing tropical vacation, in a hidden corner of the world, if you want time to seriously unwind, get off the beaten track, write a book, work out the next stage in your life or deepen a special relationship, you can’t go too wrong with Palawan.
And if you wish to engage more actively with the challenges facing local communities and the environment, you could do just as well in Palawan. Up to now, Palawan has remained largely hidden from the world of tourism and development, but the situation is changing quite quickly. A new airport is being built in the San Vicente Municipality of Western Palawan and it will inevitably bring in tourism and development. We hope that 360 Palawan can contribute to balancing and harmonizing tourism development, community uplift, environmental preservation and individual self realization. You can learn more about values, our genesis and our aspirations by going through our website and related blog.
We welcome you to visit us, as somebody who wants a wonderful, unique and low cost getaway, as someone who wants to learn about the dynamic interplay between development, community and environmental change, or as someone who wants to contribute to our social and environmental mission.
We welcome individuals, friends, families and groups. We are also very interested in building relationships with institutions, including NGOs, schools and corporations with CSR programs, that are interested in spending bonding and brainstorming time together and in participating in community and environmental projects.
360 Palawan is the third incarnation of a resort at Port Barton, which was initially branded as Swissipini and then as Ysobelle. We hope that you will find that we have retained the rustic charm created by the prior managers of our resort, but are providing a distinctly higher level of facilities, service, food and social commitment. We are also building an organic farm at the back of our resort and we hope you will find time to learn more about (or teach us more about) composting and other such interesting stuff!
